CAMP II PURPOSES: Our goal for the 2nd year of C.A.M.P. training is for the student to:

1. Continue to develop and internalize the five goals introduced in the first year of C.A.M.P. training in the areas of: (1) Convictions, (2) Servant Leadership (3) Related Skills, (4) Interpersonal Relationships and (5) Character Development.

2. Continue to develop and gain experience in areas of personal responsibility involving scheduling, stewardship and leadership as they carry and handle greater responsibilities.

3. Provide the opportunity, under supervision, for them to begin practicing discipleship

principles and evaluate their effectiveness as disciple-makers on a deeper level.

4. Continue to develop and use principles of conflict resolution.

SELECTION BASIS OF ASSOCIATE STAFF:

1. Personal maturity, character qualities and leadership qualities.

2. A satisfactory completion of assigned project work.

3. Financial stability; not owing for the first year and having an approved plan of support.

4. Suitability of applicant to an MMR Associate Staff status; this may involve male to female ratios, field of study, and housing accommodations.

5. Ability to adhere to policies governing Associate Staff.

CAMP II: Associate Staff

An additional year of leadership training and experience is available to those graduating from the Camp Apprenticeship Ministry Program (C.A.M.P.), which primarily involves a continuation of their training in leadership development and experience, along with additional classes. Second-year students will be considered Associate Staff and will be involved with leadership responsibilities that may include oversight of program areas, additional skill training and experience in discipleship. They will be expected to continue in the personal disciplines developed in the first year and may participate in other educational opportunities available during the year.
